3ds Max desktop client submit tutorial
1.Start the desktop client, select the platform to log in, and enter the main interface.
2.Drag the max file to the job area in the client, thus to trigger the submission and start the scene analysis.
3.Select software version and hardware configuration corresponding to the file, and click "Next" to enter the analysis page.
4.Click “Next” when the analysis is done (Note: corresponding prompt will appear in case of any error in the analysis results or warning thereof) and set render parameter setting (including: common settings and Vray settings).
5.Common setting:
When submitting a 3ds Max scene for rendering, you can configure the following parameters:
Note:Due to the large number of parameters, some parameters need to be set by sliding the panel.
5.1.Cameras: camera numbers determine how many cameras to be rendered, camera names determine which cameras to be rendered.
5.2.Frames : input the range of frames you want to render.
5.3.Output name: customize the name of the output files.
5.4.Output type: choose the desired output type, including: .tga/.tif/.Jpg/.png/.rla/.rpf/.exr.
5.5.Element type: choose the desired element type, including: .tga/.tif/.Jpg/.png/.rla/.rpf/.exr .
5.6.Elements active: enable or disable Elements active, by default it is enabled.
5.7.Lock aspect: enable or disable lock aspect, by default it is enabled.
5.8.Width/height: customize width and height.
5.9. Vray settings: V-Ray setting: When V-Ray plugin is configured, enabling the V-Ray switch allows you to set up V-Ray for the selected camera. Different cameras support different settings. You can also synchronize the V-Ray settings from one camera to others.
Note that when selecting photon mode and secondary mapping, it is not recommended to synchronise the configuration with other cameras.
6.Click “Submit” to start the uploading. The rendering is automatically started upon the completion of submission, and hence the submission job is successful.
